Sit down and relax.

This is my own cozy spot on the internet where you can enter in and find refreshment for your busy weary soul. If you have time for a cup of tea, feel free to sit down and relax for a minute. But if you are busy and don’t have enough time, I get it!

About me

If there is one thing I understand, it’s being busy. But I also hate the word busy. See, I’m a pastor’s wife, a momma to six kids, and we homeschool them. I am also an artist. Being an artist is something I cannot sit on the shelf and wait till all my kids are gone before I can pursue it. I need to make art, and the more kids I have had, the more I have intentionally carved out time and space to be creative in a way that keeps me sane, not stressed.  I also love to read, hitting an average of 80 books a year. Yes, my life looks busy, but I would rather say it is full and rich.

Why subscribe?

How do you make time for all that, you may ask? Come on over and poke around and find out! I want to be an encourager to other moms who used to read and now don’t have time; to those out there who long to be creative but feel like they have no time. I’m planning on having a variety of posts, both long and short, so no matter what kind of time you have you can find something to read in your busy day. Hopefully, it will be a jumble of topics as well, because I find that being a mom and a homeschooler and a creative all mesh well, but I can’t always separate them out from each other.

I can't promise you will get creating in your own life, but I can give you hope, that even though life can be crazy and distracting, you can always make a little time to read and make something beautiful.
